Law no. 46/2003 on the rights of the patient

Romanian Parliament adopts the present Law:

 

Article 1. According to the present law:

 

a)      patient is a healthy or ill person who use health care services

b)      discrimination is the distinction  made between persons who are in the similar situation, on the ground of race, sex, age, ethnic, national or social origin, religion, political opinions or personal dislike

 

 

Article 3. The patient has the right to be respected as human being, without any discrimination.

 

 

Article 27. The patient has the right to receive information, education and services required for the development of a normal sexual life and reproductive health, without any discrimination.
